There are a few nice sized lakes is close proximity, Reid, Meadow, Galore and Cook Lake. The data from Fish-On states that they hold Brook Trout, Perch and Pike.

Hunting in this area is good whether you are looking for big game, black bear and small game like rabbit or grouse.
