This property has frontage on both sides of Berglund Road.
There are about 59 acres on the north side of Berglund Road where the northwest corner of this part of the property touches Beaver Creek.
About 337 acres are on the south side of Berglund Road.
Frontage on each side of the road is about 2,916 feet per side.

Just past the driveway entrance heading west there is a creek and a very large pond where we saw Canada geese swimming.

A good, solid gate blocks the entrance to the south portion of the property on the south side of Berglund Road.
The driveway extends over 600 meters (about 1,970 feet) past the gate thus allowing you lots of privacy away from the prying eyes of envious hunters.

We first visited this property in late fall hoping that it would come on the market sometime over the late winter.
And here we are!
The pictures you will see are late fall pictures.

On the day we visited the property we saw 11 deer in a half mile stretch.
Who knows how many we didnít see!

This is awesome property with rolling type of terrain.
There are many rocky outcroppings throughout the property and ATV trails and many places to place tree stands.

We saw deer tracks all over the place and there are plenty of them in this area.

The mature trees were harvested about 12-15 years ago and the new growth is anywhere from 12 to 20 feet high.

There are many pockets of trees that were not harvested and are ideal places to place a deer stand.

A couple of seasonal creeks meander through the property and there are also some good sized 2-4 acre ponds.

Deer hunters from all over North America have been taking notice of all the wild trophy bucks that have been harvested with a few that scored very close to the Hanson Buck.
Not only is there a high population of Whitetail Deer; Whitetail Bucks in this area are very large with thick muscular bodies and big racks.
In addition to trophy Whitetail hunting this area is famous for having some of the best Moose and Black Bear hunting too!

PLEASE NOTE: there is NO non-resident GUIDE REQUIREMENT in this Wildlife Management Unit.
Non-resident Ė Open Season is Oct. 15 to Oct. 28 Bows and muzzle-loading guns only; no dogs
Open Season is Oct. 29 to Dec. 15 for high powered rifles.

The Municipality of Machin stretches for 25 kilometres along the Trans-Canada Highway in Northwestern Ontario.
