According to the Ministry of Natural Resources FISH ON LINE website you can fish for Northern pike, Walleye and Yellow Perch in Skidoo Lake.

Apparently the fishing is very good and if you get tired of fishing your lake then go down the driveway and go east for a couple of hundred yards and place your boat into Margaret lake and fish that lake.

There are many more other lakes to choose from if you want to explore and fish the area lakes.

FOR THE HUNTERS
Plenty of moose and black bear here.
There is a resident and a non-resident DEER SEASON in this wildlife management unit and for Rifles, Shotguns and Muzzle-loading guns the season is from Nov. 7 to Nov. 19.
For 2016 Bows-Only Seasons Deer (No Dogs) the season is from Oct. 1 to Nov. 6 AND Nov. 20 to Nov. 30.

There are NO NON-RESIDENT RESTRICTIONS for Deer Hunting in this wildlife management unit.

Grouse hunting is very popular as is rabbit hunting and they are both p[lentiful.
