BUILD, HUNT, FISH, CAMP - you can do it all on this 372 acre tract of prime land.
This is a large acreage to own and it can certainly be your very own playground.
To have frontage on a lake is pure bonus.
The property is about midway between the Towns of Englehart and Larder lake, Ontario.
YOU CAN DRIVE TO THIS PROPERTY IN A CAR.
Easy driving distance from both Englehart or Larder lake where you can do all your shopping for food and supplies.
About a 20 minute drive from Englehart or a 15 minute drive from Larder lake.
This is a very nice property that is relatively level with some rolling type of terrain.
Trees on the property include Spruce trees, Birch Trees, Poplar Trees and Cedar Trees.
You can harvest plenty of good sized trees if you want to construct a log cabin right from this property.
The present owner made a new road into the very south end of the lake and there is an awesome building location at this point that looks north up the lake towards the three small islands.
The scenery from this point is incredible.
The new road (driveway) is gated .
You will enjoy lots of PRIVACY.
A neighbour past this property is now living at his cottage year round so access to this property will also be available year round.
The lake the property fronts on is called SKIDOO LAKE.
Skidoo Lake has a surface area of 33 hectares or 81.5 acres.
The lake has an average depth of between 10 to 12 feet.
Good fishing waters for pike, perch and walleye.
The lake shoreline is typical Northern Ontario shoreline- trees right down to the waters edge.
In addition to the lake there are five beaver ponds within the property the largest pond is about 5 acreas and the rest average from 1 to 3 acres in size.
The ponds are attracting the moose and there are plenty of them.
FOR THE FISHERMEN
According to the Ministry of Natural Resources FISH ON LINE website you can fish for Northern pike, Walleye and Yellow Perch in Skidoo Lake.
Apparently the fishing is very good and if you get tired of fishing your lake then go down the driveway and go east for a couple of hundred yards and place your boat into Margaret lake and fish that lake.
There are many more other lakes to choose from if you want to explore and fish the area lakes.
